One thing Colorado is known for is hiking.  There are 53 fourteeners in Colorado (even though there’s still some debate about the actual number).  To be considered a 14er, the peak of a mountain must have an elevation of at least 14,000 feet!  Check out the list http://www.hikingintherockies.com/fourteeners/14ers.htm
